Pat is to leave eastenders!

The loveable Pam St Clement (Pat Evans) is to leave Eastenders later this year. Pam has been on the square for 25 years, pam first avrived on the square on the 12/06/1986. She has had some dramatic story lines. From her big East End wedding to Frank Butcher, to the numerous amounts of cat fights with Peggy Mitchell.

Bryan Kirkwood, EastEnders Executive Producer adds: "In Pat Harris-Beale-Wicks-Butcher-Evans, Pam St Clement has created one of the most iconic and loved characters in British TV history...Although it's too early to talk about how Pat will leave the Square, we can assure viewers it will culminate in a fitting storyline, not to be missed
